AJAX RECALL SHOTA FOR CELTIC CLASH

AJAX have recalled star striker Shota Arveladze to the squad for the Champions League qualifier against Scottish champions Celtic on Wednesday.
The Georgian international had been left out of the side after failing to sign a new deal, but Ajax coach Co Adriaanse has decided to have him available for the vital match.
The club are hopeful that this move to include Arveladze in the squad may see the player change his mind and negotiate a new deal at The Amsterdam ArenA
Adriaanse does not to lose the prolific hit-man and it was the club's board to ban from the squad after failing to sign a new deal.
Meanwhile, fellow striker Nikos Machlas could still leave the club.
The Greek's future at the Dutch giants is still unresolved and he has been linked with Spanish duo Real Betis and Sevilla
