Great Britain duo Mica McNeill and Mica Moore sit sixth in the women's bobsleigh after the first two heats at the Winter Olympics

Team GB pair Mica McNeill and Mica Moore were sixth at the halfway point of the women's two-person bobsleigh at the Winter Olympics.

McNeill and Moore, who crowd-funded their way to the Games after being told their funding was being cut by their governing body in September, were 0.16 seconds off the medal positions.

Pilot McNeill told BBC Sport: "It is very exciting. It's a brand new track and we haven't had a lot of time here. It's a fun track and it's going well so far.

"We're looking forward to carrying that into tomorrow. We stand by that we are powered by the people.
