Irving in the frame for Contenders Hurdle at Sandown

Irving's name has been added to the list of possible participants in the Betfred Contenders Hurdle at Sandown on February 4.
With Yanworth and Brain Power already being aimed at the race, Paul Nicholls' dual Grade One-winner could offer even more strength in depth.
Having won the Fighting Fifth in November, he was kept fresh for the Champion Hurdle Trial at Haydock last Saturday but fell at the fourth flight.
"He seems fine, it looks like he got away with it," said Dan Downie, racing manager for Irving's owners, Axom.
"It's possible he could go to Sandown on February 4 for the Contenders Hurdle, or there's the Kingwell. Given the ground is likely to be softer at Sandown, though, I'd say he's more likely to run there."
