Camulus and Rosscahill look the key players in the 2026 renewal of the North Wales National - live on Sky Sports Racing this afternoon.

1.55 Bangor - Camulus and Rosscahill among North Wales National field

There's a typically open feel to this Xenon Workplace North Wales National Handicap Chase, with a field of 13 locking horns at Bangor-on-Dee.

The Venetia Williams yard has not been in the best of form of late, but Camulus looks to have a fine chance of taking this marathon prize and completing the hat-trick. He readily scored at Leicester and Taunton this time last year and heads up in trip on this first start for 353 days.

Rosscahill has always been well thought of by connections and showed plenty of promise over hurdles before being pulled up on debut over fences at Ffos Las in October. Sent off a 5-4f that day, he has a few questions to answer as he returns from a break for the Twiston-Davies team.

Plenty have each-way chances including JP McManus' Ayr runner-up Wal Buck's, Gold Emery and Icaque de L'Isle.

4.22 Wolverhampton - Enemy, Roaring Legend & Prydwen clash

A super feature Midnite: Built For 2026 Not 2006 Handicap sees popular stayers Enemy, Roaring Legend, and Prydwen clash.

Enemy showed he still retains all his ability when dropping back to twelve furlongs to claim a Class 3 handicap at Southwell on New Year's Day and he must be feared despite a 4lb rise in the weights.

Roaring Legend makes his debut for Olly Murphy with Sean Levey in the plate and brings with him plenty of strong form from last season. He ended the campaign with a fine third in the Mallard at Doncaster and merits respect if in similar form on the switch to the all-weather.

George Scott's Prydwen cannot be ruled out but must bounce back from a lesser effort here in December.

7.00 Newcastle - The Caltonian & Apache Outlaw headline

A strong-looking SBK: No Casino Just Sports Handicap at Newcastle sees The Caltonian and Apache Outlaw headline.

The Caltonian scored nicely over six furlongs here last month, beating Pocklington by three quarters of a length. Given the runner-up is a progressive sprinter, he is an obvious player with Paul Mulrennan taking over in the saddle.

The Adrian Keatley-trained Apache Outlaw - a four-time winner on the all-weather - ran a cracker to finish third at Dundalk and the first-time cheekpieces may eke out further improvement.

Elegant Erin completes the shortlist having ended last season with an excellent fourth in Listed company at Ascot.
