Money cashes in at Tipperary

Promised Money produced a tremendous mid-race move to come out on top in the Listed Excelebration Tipperary Stakes.
Shrill cut out much of the running and had a handy lead at the two-furlong point of the five-furlong charge, but Colin Keane angled Eddie Lynam's 7-1 chance into a gap and she rocketed into the lead.
Odds-on favourite Independence Day got going late on, but Promised Money had done enough, coming home half a length to the good.
Keane said: "I let her find her feet early on and she was a little green in front, so I'd say there's more improvement left in her.
"She's a nice filly and I think she'll stay six (furlongs)."
Willie Mullins put in an excellent training performance to get Diakali back after a year off the track to bolt up in the Kevin McManus Bookmaker Grimes Hurdle.
Sent off the 4-5 favourite despite not having been seen since finishing fourth in last year's French Champion Hurdle, he travelled powerfully for Ruby Walsh, taking up the running at the third-last and leaving his rivals toiling on the home turn.
Stablemate Thousand Stars plugged on for second, but Diakali appeared to finish full of running, skipping over the last to score by 10 lengths.
Mullins said: "I was hoping he'd win and felt he was fit enough, but he was still carrying a tummy - he had been off so long but I didn't want to school him as he can be very keen.
"I was very pleased with how he jumped and settled - his jumping was very slick.
"We'll stick him in the Galway Hurdle, but it might come a bit soon and he is still a maiden on the Flat so the amateur mile-and-a-half maiden at Galway might be an alternative.
"He was very keen as a Flat horse before we bought him and is ridden out on his own at home."
He added of Thousand Stars: "At the third-last it looked like he'd finish fourth or fifth, but he is such a professional and stayed on well."
