Star columnist Richard Fahey goes through his team for the final day of York's Dante Festival and is hoping for a touch!

We run two in the opening Ralph Raper Memorial Handicap at York; they're both entitled to take their chance and we're hoping for a big run from both.

We're delighted with Paddy Power at home and he's working well. He won a little maiden last time out and got his confidence having finally got his head in front. He's a horse we've always held in high regard.

David [Nolan] rode him last time and keeps the ride so Tony [Hamilton] is on Curtain Call and there's no significance in the jockey bookings. She ran a good race the last time. We felt she hadn't really come to herself but she showed loads of toe and finished third at a big price and she's sure to be on the premises.

We're trying to pinch a little bit of black type with Vona in the Langleys Solicitors EBF Marygate Fillies' Stakes and it would be lovely to get some.

She just got stage fright at Southwell first time out and then she ran a good race at Chester which I think was probably a warm race where she was a shade unlucky. I'd say on form she's got a bit to find but she's entitled to run.

We run one in the Betway Yorkshire Cup and that's Suegioo. He doesn't win very often but he always runs well and one of these days he's going to come in; he seems in good form.

We're hoping for a big run from Innocent Touch in the Betway Jorvik Handicap. He ran a good race the last day, probably just got a bit tired over a mile and six but he's in great form and came out of that race really well.

That's it for York but we do have a handful of runners elsewhere and Simply Shining goes to Newmarket for the Leonard Oram Retirement Handicap.

She's in foal and loves fast ground so we are a bit restricted as to how many more runs we can get. It doesn't look a bad race but she will like the ground.

We run Normandy Knight in the Racing Together Handicap at Hamilton in the evening. He was a bit fresh at Pontefract; Hayley [Irvine] rode him and he was a bit strong for her, but he's working well; I would think he's got a big chance

Ormskirk might find six a bit sharp on his first run of the year in the Wheelers Diner William Wallace Handicap but he seems in good form at home.

The handicapper may just have Desire and she might just need the run in the Bannockburn Handicap. She seems in good form but she's got a lot of weight which is why we're claiming the three off her with Sammy Jo Bell.
