Ruth Jefferson is looking forward to testing Buster Valentine's credentials in the Grade Two Ballymore Classic Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham on Saturday.
The six-year-old has won both his races at Ayr and Newcastle in good style - and the North Yorkshire trainer now wants to see how he fares against stronger opposition.
"Buster Valentine is in good form," said Jefferson.
"He has won his first two starts for us very nicely and he took the step up in trip well at Newcastle last time.
"The target now is the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham on Festival Trials Day.
"We are looking forward to running him there."
