Master Of Hounds and Cape Blanco given international entries

Master Of Hounds, a close second in the UAE Derby, will either go for the Qipco 2000 Guineas or the Kentucky Derby. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt was only a nose behind Khawlah in the 10-furlong Group Two contest on Saturday but that run earned him the right to go for even bigger prizes. Cape Blanco also ran with credit on the same Meydan card when only beaten a length into fourth in the Dubai World Cup and could next go for the Singapore Airlines International Cup in May. "Cape Blanco would have a Singapore option. Master Of Hounds is in the English 2000 Guineas and would have a Kentucky Derby option," O'Brien told At The Races. "We will see how they are and the next couple of weeks will tell us a lot. "The Kentucky Derby is a great race. He handled the surface well out in Dubai and he's a horse that has tactical speed and we were delighted with his run. "I'm sure the race will be considered and will be spoken about."
