Both horses views as prospects for next year

Connections pland to keep targets low-key for Sir Robert Ogden's promising duo Martin Chuzzlewit and Tales Of Grimm. Both colts are trained by Sir Michael Stoute and Martin Chuzzlewit stepped up on his promising debut at Newbury when winning over a mile at Sandown while Tales Of Grimm scored on his debut over seven furlongs at Newbury. "We view Martin Chuzzlewit as very much a middle-distance prospect for next year," said Ogden's racing manager, Barry Simpson. "That was certainly Tom Queally's view after the race. He said straight away that he already wanted 10 furlongs, so next year you'd imagine that a mile and a half would be no problem. "We hope he is a typical Sir Michael Stoute late-developer and that he improves with his racing. "As yet we haven't even talked about a plan. Sir Michael lets his horses tell him when they are ready to run and step up. He has so much strength in depth that he'll know where to run him. "The other interesting youngster we have with Sir Michael, the Distorted Humor colt (Tales Of Grimm), also looks very promising. "We were very impressed with him first time out at Newbury but we'll see how he progresses. We have no firm plans for either of them."
