Officials at Chepstow have been forced to abandon this evening's card after an inspection due to heavy waterlogging on the track.
Following four millimetres of rain overnight, a further 12 millimetres fell on Friday morning, on ground already described as heavy.
More rain is forecast for the rest of the day.
