Sir Henry Cecil has confirmed the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood as the most likely next port of call for Tuesday's Queen Anne Stakes winner Frankel.
The world's highest-rated racehorse produced a career-best performance when slamming his rivals by 11 lengthsearlier this week and there was specualation he could head next to the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown.
However intead it seems he will first run over ten furlongs in the Juddmonte International at York on August 22.
Cecil said on Friday: "He seems fine, he went out yesterday for a trot and a walk and we'll feel our way. I'd say at the moment it's more likely he'll go to Goodwood and to York."
