Marco Botti is keen to target some of the biggest races on the international stage with his new recruit Crackerjack King.

America and Australia beckon for Crackerjack King

Marco Botti has major international targets on the radar of his relatively new recruit Crackerjack King. The four-year-old was a Group One winner in Italy before joining Botti in Newmarket and he was not completely disgraced on his debut for the yard, finishing fifth in the Eclipse at Sandown earlier this month. Botti feels his charge will be more effective on a sounder surface and he is eyeing big prizes in America and Australia for his charge. "Crackerjack King should run in the Arlington Million next month," said the trainer. "I thought his run in the Eclipse was OK, but a little disappointing and the ground wasn't suitable. "Later on, the plan would be to go for the Cox Plate, as he has been bought for an Australian owner."
