James Fanshawe has his fingers crossed that Badr Al Badoor will have recovered from the setback that prevented her from running at Ascot on Saturday in time for York next month. The Acclamation filly was forced to miss the Princess Margaret Juddmonte Stakes at Ascot due to a dirty scope and her Newmarket handler is now targeting the Jaguar Cars Lowther Stakes on the Knavesmire on August 23. "She got a dirty scope so we have to clear that up," said Fanshawe. "Hopefully she might come back for the Lowther." Badr Al Badoor made a highly-promising debut when beating subsequent winner Diaminda at Doncaster a month ago.
