Charlie Appleby says that the exciting Tryster will revert to turf for the Brigadier Gerard Stakes at Sandown on May 28 before a possible trip to Royal Ascot.
The undoubted star of the all-weather season, the Shamardal gelding claimed the Winter Derby and the Coral Easter Classic with exciting bursts of speed.
Last seen on turf at Newmarket in July where he picked up an injury, he has won his last five races.
"Tryster has done well since winning the Easter Classic, he's in great nick and we are delighted with him," said Appleby.
"The plan is to go for the Brigadier Gerard Stakes as a first introduction to Group-class company on the turf and then maybe we will look at Ascot. But we wanted to dip our toe into Group company first before making any bold statements."
