Joe Fanning hopes to be back in the saddle early next week.
Mark Johnston's stable jockey has been out of action since a fall at Catterick on May 5 but suffered no lasting damage,
His agent Niall Hannity said: "He was pretty stiff and sore for the first few days but he's hoping to start riding out again within the next couple of days.
"He wants to be back riding at the start of next week but when exactly we are not sure yet.
"He's made massive progress in the last 72 hours, he's been having physio every day and went to Redcar on Monday for some more.
"What he has said, though, is that he wants to be 100 per cent before he does return."
