Top trainer Richard Fahey is hoping for another profitable Saturday for his team., including the exciting High Baroque.

We've had a great run of success in recent weeks and I hope it can continue for another Saturday at least!

Our first runner is Bahamian Bird in the 150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes. She was very disappointing at Beverley on her second run having shaped with promise first time up at Redcar She needs to step up but this is a big pot and we're happy to have a go.

There's even more money on offer in the 500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy and we run Nimr. He needs to bounce back from his last run here when things didn't go to plan with him. He's a horse we like but as you'd expect for the prize on offer, it's very competitive.

Moving on to Ascot now and the John Guest Bengough Stakes looks an ideal race for Eastern Impact. He's in good order at home and if he runs to the form of his July Cup third he'd be there or thereabouts.

We've four in the totescoop6 Challenge Cup. Heaven's Guest has nothing in hand of the handicapper but is in great form and loves this track. Sammy Jo Bell takes 3lb off and while he has nothing to play with in terms of ratings, he does go well here.

I've only tried Tatlisu over seven furlongs once before, around a bend at Goodwood, and it didn't suit him. I've always thought he'd get the trip and this looks a good opportunity to try it on a straight course. He comes here off the back of a win in the Ayr Silver Cup.

Also See:

Rene Mathis has had a great season, winning two heritage handicaps. Like Heaven's Guest he has no secrets from the handicapper but will run his race. If that's good enough to win a third big prize I'd be thrilled.

Farlow is our final runner. He's been in great form recently but might just prefer a bit more juice in the ground and I can't see rain in the forecast.

Return Of The Mak makes his debut in division one of the Save Our Steel EBF Stallions Maiden Stakes at Redcar. He's quite a nice colt who we like. He's very laid back but could run a big race here if the penny drops in time.

Dose has been working well ahead of her first start in division two. She's a well-bred filly with a future and I hope she'll also go nicely on debut.

The big pot at Redcar is the totepool Two-Year-Old Trophy.

Mr Lupton and Mayfair Lady finished first and second in a Haydock maiden back in May. Both have progressed very well since and if the former won a big sales pot at Doncaster last time. He's capable of running well again, while if Mayfair Lady is in the same form as when running away with a nursery at the York Ebor Meeting she'd be very competitive.

Powerallied needs to step up on what he's shown so far but it's a big prize and he's earned the right to have a tilt at it. Gin In At The Inn has been a bit disappointing. He's grown a bit and may need to strengthen up a little but it's worth having a go with the money on offer.

It was my decision to run Dusky Queen in the totescoop6 EBF Guisborough Stakes. I also had her in the fillies' race at Ascot but when I had a look at this race, I thought there may be a question mark over one or two of the higher rated-horses and our filly is very honest and genuine and sure to run her race. I hope I'm proved right.

Obsidian was disappointing in the Cambridgeshire last week for all that it was a step up for him. The Pinnacle Cup Straight-Mile Series Final Handicap is probably more his grade and he came out of the Newmarket race well.

Bahamian C needs to pull his finger out. He looks handicapped to win a race like this now but I've fallen out with him a bit after his recent efforts!

On his best form Piccadilly Jim would take all the beating in the New Racing UK iPad App Selling Stakes but on his last run at Hamilton he wouldn't. We'll have to see how he goes here.

High Baroque has been progressing well and was impressive in winning his maiden at Pontefract last time. The handicapper hasn't missed him with an opening mark of 85, but I have to say that he did work really well this week. I have to be be hopeful that there's more to come and if that's the case he'd have a leading chance in the Market Cross Jewellers Handicap.

Perardua is what she is, a very tough and genuine sprint handicapper. I'd love to see her get her head in front in the Watch Racing UK Anywhere Handicap as a reward for her consistent season.

Our final runner of the day is Simply Shining in the Enjoy Daily Racing Tips At bookies.com Fillies' Handicap at Wolverhampton. She had a choice of engagements and I thought this looked the best opportunity for her. She's had a great season and I'd love to see her win another race as she's heading into retirement at the end of the campaign.
