Langs Lash is not set to race again until the Jaguar Cars Lowther Stakes at York on August 21, despite her heroics in winning the Queen Mary Stakes at Ascot.
The Mick Quinlan-trained filly showed her class in holding off Shyrl by a neck over five furlongs to win at a price of 25-1.
However, despite having the possibility of running in the Cherry Hinton at Newmarket, Langs Lash will be prepared for an assault on York.
Assistant trainer Noel Quinlan said: "She came out of Ascot very, very well.
"We're absolutely over the moon with her but she definitely won't run again now until the Lowther as we're going to go quietly with her for a month or so.
"We could have rushed her back for the Cherry Hinton at Newmarket next week but we weren't tempted, we want her to strengthen up and develop.
"I haven't got any worries about the six furlongs, especially at York, as she was doing all her best work at the end when she was behind Bahamian Babe over five furlongs there before."
Quinlan admitted the price of 25-1 at the Royal meeting had come as a surprise - although her performance was not.
"She shouldn't have been 25-1 at Ascot as I didn't think Bahamian Babe could beat us again after they ran at York the time before," he added.
"Our filly was only having her second run then and she learned nothing when she won at Folkestone on her debut, whereas Michael Bell's filly had much more experience.
"She was not drawn well either and was green at York so the only real surprise was that she was 25-1 at Ascot. By the time she went there the penny had completely dropped."
