Weather continues to play havoc with racing calender

Saturday's fixture at Naas has been cancelled due to a waterlogged track. Course officials were left with no choice but to call off the meeting after the County Kildare venue was submerged by a deluge of overnight rainfall. The National Hunt card will instead by staged on Tuesday, with fresh declarations to be made by Monday. Cliff Noone, Irish Turf Club press officer, said: "Naas had 27 millimetres of overnight rain, which they weren't expecting. "An early-morning inspection was called, but there was little hope." In better news, it has been confirmed that the fixture at Huntingdon will go ahead after passing a 10am inspection.
