Verdict

Sporting Ace was engaged in the 12.40 Exeter yesterday. Glengeever is probably facing a stiff task under a double penalty as he bids for a hat-trick while May’s course and distance winner Henry's Friend carries 6lb extra. Runner-up to the unbeaten Maximilian on his debut under Rules, Snowy Evening should make a hurdler but a similar comment applies to GREY DAWNING (NAP) who has won a couple of bumpers at Wetherby with the minimum of fuss and is a full brother to winning hurdler Blanketontheground and a half-brother to two other winners. Fortunate Soldier’s win in a point at Oldcastle has worked out well and he should also have a future.
