    Verdict

It’s more than 12 months since Fixed Rate completed a double on the bridle at Kelso and he’s 7lb higher on his return. Rebel Royal made a winning start over fences at Huntingdon and doesn’t have many miles on the clock. Sammy Bill was also a winning debutant, at Kempton, and Amoola Gold would have gone close at Newbury had his jumping been more accurate. CRACKING FIND’s second run at Wetherby this season was too bad to be true. His yard is in much better form now and he’s been dropped a further 2lb against lesser opposition so a return to winning ways could be on the cards, though this is a tight handicap.
