Verdict
Beau Du Brizais is on a long losing run and never threatened at Newton Abbot last month. Boughtbeforelunch is on a career-high mark after a rare victory at Ludlow and the handicapper appears to have reeled in Mance Rayder while this is probably too short nowadays for Flying Verse. Reve still has scope but EMPIRE DE MAULDE and Bbold could fight out the finish in a competitive-looking handicap with the former preferred. He couldn’t live with Captain Tom Cat over 2m4f here four weeks ago but that winner followed up at Worcester last week and looks a useful recruit. Ocean Cove stays well but is hard work.
