      Verdict

The New One has been the only four-year-old winner of this Grade 2 bumper in the last nine years so the stats are against Mister Fisher and Normal Norman. Skidoosh could go well at a price as he still looked a little green at Doncaster in February. Danny Kirwan still looks unfurnished but beat Pym at Kempton on his debut under Rules, though was receiving 7lb. Mercy Mercy Me will be bidding to advertise the form of last month’s Champion Bumper but Chanceanotherfive and Kateson are more exposed than most. We’ll take a chance on SEVARANO as Oliver Sherwood’s good-looking son of Shantou was most impressive in a maiden at Kempton on his racecourse debut. He’s going to make a cracking jumper but gets plenty of speed from both sides of his pedigree and will have come on a bundle for that first outing.
