Verdict

Party Rock goes well here and Gran Maestro could figure if fully wound-up. The Road Ahead was second in the mares' handicap on this card 12 months ago but hasn't been seen since and Go West Young Man isn't exactly trustworthy. War Sound won the Swinton Hurdle last year but has only had one run since while though Mad Jack Mytton often travels strongly in his races he rarely finds much off the bridle. GENERAL GINGER (NAP) had Great Hall behind when attempting to give All Set To Go 5lb at Taunton. He wasn't beaten far by a decent novice over 2m3f in November so should stay the extra and will bounce off the surface. Nicky Henderson's pair Saint Charles and Lough Kent have a bit to prove at present and Maximiser is hard to weigh up after a fair second at Auteuil, his only start since a crunching fall over fences.
