In depth
Verdict
Another wide open affair in which many have chances and we will take a chance on Stone Cold. The gelding from the Tim Easterby yard was a good second behind Quarterstaff last time out and that form has since been franked and he could go well off what looks a fair mark with conditions in his favour. Ballybrophy defeated Max Pride in good style last time out but that was with cut in the ground. If he handles this faster surface he will not be far away. Rudolf Rassendyll is another to consider he was a fair second behind Lord 'N' Master last time out but his best efforts have also come with more cut in the ground. Aegean caused a surprise when winning at Perth last time out but that was on soft ground and his form on fat ground leaves a lot to be desiered.Of the remainder Emperor's Magic is from a yard in form and is worth a cautionary look in the market despite top weight.
