In depth
Verdict
With several in-from horse competing, it will not be easy to find the winner. The one's to be interested in include Great Crusader, Ollie Magern, Therealbandit and Wagner, with the latter getting the vote. Jonjo O'Neill's six-year-old has a touch of the slows, but he does stay extremely well and with plenty of rain forecast for the area, should have conditions to suit. There isn't much between him and Great Crusader on their run at Perth, but at six, he is surely open to more improvement than the latter who is now 11. Therealbandit has done nothing but improve since stepping up and must go close under conditions that will suit. Handicap debutante Ollie Magern doesn't look badly treated of 95 and ran well enough when chasing Lodestar home here last month, he will be difficult to keep out of the frame.
