    Verdict

Auenmoon gets the vote over Misbehaviour, Archie Babe, Into The Shadows, Unjust Law and Iffy to name but a few. Auenmoon was quite a prolific winner on the Flat in Germany, and ran any number of decent races when put over timber, including when hunting up Rasharrow at Perth in April. Peter Monteith's five-year-old will be all the better for a recent run on the Flat at Ayr in which he finished a fine second, and off a mark of 122, should go very close. Misbehaviour has not been out since May, but has winning form to his name at Plumpton and Warwick. His mark leaves him with a bit to find but along with stablemate Tamreen, gives Gary Moore a strong presence. Archie Babe is pretty exposed now but did nothing wrong when beating Aleron at Wetherby and is another for the mix, while Into The Shadows will be all the better for her third on the Flat at York, but could do with more give in the ground. Unjust Law has not impressed to date and has plenty of weight to carry, and Iffy was a bit disappointing at Huntingdon, so cannot be backed with confidence. Having weighed up all the options, Auenmoon must have sound claims and is the pick.
