        Verdict

        Jasmin Guichois was pulled out of a stronger race than this at the Open meeting at Cheltenham last week on account of the fast ground and should be better suited by conditions here so gets the vote over Young Whack and Idealko. The last mentioned is still relatively unexposed over fences and has to be respected on his seasonal reappearance, while the ex-Irish Young Whack confirmed his current well being with a comfortable success at Ayr last week. He rates a bigger threat than topweight Asparagus, who has plenty to do under 11st 12lb. Dunston Bill goes well when fresh and, with the stable of Nigel Twiston-Davies in good form, Prominent Profile has to be respected but the vote goes to Jasmin Guichois. The Venetia Williams-trained gelding looked a likely winner when falling on his latest start and appears well treated for his return.
