Verdict

NOBLE ALAN is the call with Folk Tune the danger. The selection looks tailor made for this task and having won the Scottish Champion Hurdle; he predictably made light work of the opposition at Hexham on fencing debut. Folk Tune has a bit to prove on hurdling form. If the rain stays away, she has to be considered as an option although she will have to improve upon her Towcester success. Son Of Flicka does not always find as much as promised. Conversely, Five Dream would be at his best if the track see a deluge. He won in spite of the fast ground at Fontwell and his rating over hurdles was testament to the fact that he seldom ran a bad race. Noble Alan can take this en route to better things.
