    Verdict

Richard Newland and Cillin Leonard teamed up to land a nice prize at Cheltenham on Friday and Clever As A Fox, who is easily beat subsequent Cartmel winner Beeno at Perth over the summer, is almost certainly still improving. Monte Cristo is another progressive type but is a four-year-old up against some old favourites in this. Voix Du Reve was a very smart chaser when with Willie Mullins but has a first outing for new connections. STRONG GLANCE finished six lengths ahead of Earlofthecotswolds when a fast-finishing third in a Listed handicap at Market Rasen a month ago. He won on soft going on that track at the start of the year and remains unexposed for his age. Caius Marcius is very tough but prefers a sound surface but Mohaayed is a former Cheltenham Festival winner who is still capable on his day.
