Verdict
HAUL AWAY completed a four-timer stepping into handicap company at Fontwell. He’s gone up a further 3lb but looks a highly progressive individual. Lygon Rock finally got off the mark at Ludlow in May and should do even better this winter. Massini's Trap was third in this last year, ahead of Three Musketeers, but Eaton Hill proved difficult to place last term. Cool Sky won over course and distance in May and then ran in competitive handicaps on the Flat before last month’s fourth at Stratford but stablemate Byron Flyer is more interesting. He hasn’t run over hurdles since April of last year but has been in cracking form on the Flat lately, rattling up a hat-trick over 1m4f. This trip is no problem and he shouldn’t be far away.
