In depth

Verdict

Masarah is the highest rated of these after her run behind Certify in the Group 1 Fillies Mile at Newmarket though she didn't impress on her reappearance on Polytrack at Lingfield. Pearl Sea finished closer to Certify at Newmarket earlier but ran poorly when fancied in a Listed contest there in November. CHAT landed a Haydock maiden in June that didn't work out particularly well but her pedigree suggests she'll do much better in her second season and an entry in the Coronation Stakes suggests she's well thought of. She'll need to have improved over the winter but is handed the vote over the more exposed pair Cruck Realta, twice a winner but whose best run came when runner-up in a Listed contest on this track, and Irish challenger Typhoon Lily, who makes her debut on Turf having had all three starts at Dundalk.
