In depth

Verdict

Dreaming has plenty of speed in his pedigree being a half-brother to five winners up to 6f. It would be no surprise to see Eve Johnson Houghton’s colt run well on debut and fellow newcomer Roseberry Topping is also related to a host of winners but soft ground was probably to blame for KHANJAR’s poor run at Goodwood. The latter was a bit unlucky here on debut and finished ahead of a subsequent winner so is preferred to the others with experience including Chorus Girl and Captain's Bar, placed at Salisbury and Newmarket respectively.
