Verdict
This is an exceptional race for fancied horses as the biggest priced winner in ten years has been 4/1. Two three-year-olds have won in the past four years so Star Storm enters the equation though he has much more to do than when landing a Yarmouth handicap. HILLSTAR struck form at this time a year ago landing a Group 3 at Newbury before taking the Grade 1 Canadian International. He's been brought along slowly this campaign and can reward the patience. Romsdal has only won twice - both times at Kempton - but his third place in the King George here is the stand-out bit of form on view. However, he pulled up in the Geoffrey Freer in August and is best watched for now. Windshear finished five lengths second in that latter event and hasn't really fulfilled early promise.
