        Verdict

        Tempus passed the post in second behind Overwrite at Newbury but was awarded the race having been badly hampered in the closing stages. He had Afaak back in fifth with Orbaan further behind and can go close again. Cap Francais never threatened the winner when runner-up over track and trip last month but GIN PALACE (NAP) just missed out at Sandown last time and gets another chance racing off the same mark today. Blown By Wind posted one of his better efforts at Chester recently while Walhaan ran well in a tougher handicap at York without looking like winning.
