Verdict

Thereisnodoubt has quickly found his form since returning from a break but the Scottish-trained veteran could find this company too hot. Camprond won a hot handicap at Punchestown last year and was third in the Coral Cup in March but gets no respite from the handicapper. Last season’s County Hurdle winner Faivoir will strip fitter for a run at Ffos Las, where he finished ahead of Carbon King, and conditions won’t faze Knickerbockerglory either. Teddy Blue is normally a reliable handicapper but he didn’t get far on his reappearance at Cheltenham in the race won by Our Champ and his yard has yet to hit form. ALTOBELLI (NAP) took his chance in a Grade 1 at Aintree in April after wins in minor company at Ffos Las and Carlisle but that was too much too soon. He could be well treated making his handicap debut. The four-year-old Rare Middleton has yet to win outside of maiden company while Chance A Tune only won a seniors’ handicap at Chepstow and his rider can only claim 7lb today.
