      Verdict

This is anybody’s race but ZEST faced a tough task against the likes of subsequent Group 3 winner Marenko on her reappearance at Kempton and James Fanshawe’s filly looks to have stronger claims in this. Royal Reserve won a handicap at Lingfield on his recent comeback while Frankie takes over the reins on Lingfield maiden winner Baydar. The latter is one of a hatful of maiden winners making their seasonal debuts and anyone of Marylebone, Rostova, Telegram, Kummiya and Banksea could get involved. Aleko went close in a Brighton handicap last month and Taurean Star scored over 6f at the track last year.
