In depth

Verdict

Highland Dress remains 7lb higher than when scoring at Newmarket in June while Theotherside has been raised the same amount for beating both Will To Win and Hamish Macbeth at Headquarters. Equitation won over course and distance last year and finished runner-up over the minimum trip here recently but CHIL CHIL is preferred. The latter showed good progress after undergoing wind surgery last year and will be sharper for last month’s second at Bath on her reappearance. Andrew Balding’s filly may prove the one to side in a competitive handicap. Dazzling Dan and Woven have both returned to winning marks and are not out of this either.
