In depth

Dimsons wasn’t disgraced in a hot maiden at York and there is more to come from the Footstepsinthesand colt who is a half-brother to two winners. Wootton's Jewel has shown promise in both starts but will be qualified for handicaps after this. Kestrel is bred to be a three-year-old but is still entered in a couple of Group 2 races at the end of the month so must have been showing plenty at Ballydoyle. The Ice Phoenix improved on his debut when second at Kempton and Moyassr started favourite when third at Salisbury. Easy to back when third at Newbury, OLYMPIC CANDLE will have come on a bundle for the experience so gets the nod though any market interest in the 170,000gns purchase Accumulate and Purefoy should be heeded with the latter being a full brother to a winning miler.
