        Verdict

        Crystal Casque has already won at Newmarket and Sandown this summer but, in between, was unplaced behind One Step Beyond and GLOBAL ESTEEM in an apprentices races here. The latter pair finished second and third respectively at Windsor but Serena Brotherton’s mount is the pick of the weights today. Maysong beat Shaladar at Redcar back in April and has continued to run well in the main while Lenny's Spirit has won three of his last four. The drop back to a mile should suit Alazwar and Ideal Guest also has claims while Flyawaydream has not finished outside of the first three in four runs on Turf.
