In depth

Verdict

Alan King launches a double-barrelled assault with Dhaafer and Jubail, third and fifth in the Fred Winter Handicap at the Cheltenham Festival. The former should confirm the form and seems to have really come into his own in recent outings after a rather quiet start to his hurdling career. He'll take plenty of beating but the feeling persists that ROCK OF DEAUVILLE is better than his actual form indicates and he ran better than ever when a good sixth in that Cheltenham contest. He gets the vote off his lowly perch on ground that should be ideal. The likeable and consistent Pullyourfingerout can never be ruled out either.
