Few would begrudge a success for the 12-year-old Alderburn who showed that the fire still burns brightly when only reeled in on the run-in in a similar event at Newbury last time by Regal Heights. Trainer Henry Daly has endured a torrid season so success would prove a real fillip for the yard and he should go close. However, BLU TEEN was most impressive under a fine hold-up ride when landing the Grand Military Gold Cup and has subsequently rejoined the champion trainer. He looks well treated and has conditions to suit. Wogan would be a live threat to all if back to his best of last season.
