Verdict
Sir Thomas Gresham was well ahead of Popmaster, Marshal Dan and Gisburn at Newbury last month. Orazio and Chairmanoftheboard look closely matched on Newmarket running with the latter running well again on the Rowley Mile last Saturday. A winner on this card 12 months ago, STERLING KNIGHT (NAP) only weakened close home at Doncaster on his reappearance. Conditions won’t be an issue and Ed Dunlop’s four-year-old looks to have been primed for this.
