Verdict
Lightning Charlie won last year’s renewal off a 5lb higher mark and is not easily dismissed while Miracle of Medinah was placed over track and trip on his penultimate start and can race off the same mark today. Only Spoofing remains 10lb higher than when landing a hat-trick at Hamilton earlier while Chagatai still looks a shade high in the weights at present. HOW FAR has a further 6lb rise to contend with having followed a victory at Windsor with success at Nottingham but may not have finished improving yet and the hat-trick looks on the cards for Simon Crisford’s colt.
