      Verdict

A potential Group horse in the making, SUNRAY MAJOR had little trouble dispatching the opposition over 7f here on his handicap bow. The half-brother to Kingman should go close despite a penalty. Frankie prefers the latter to stablemates King Leonidas and Magical Morning while Jim Crowley partners another 7f winner here in Aldaary ahead of Montatham. Ryan Moore gets the leg-up on Haydock winner Nugget, who beat Johan at Newbury earlier in the year, while the progressive Dashing Roger won the Shergar Cup Mile here in August. Matthew Flinders and Rhoscolyn step back in trip while the latter’s stable companion Shelir won nicely at York last week and is preferred to 2019 winner Escobar. Raise You beat compatriot Saltonstall at Naas last year and has his first start since July.
