Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute has saddled the winner of this four times in the last 11 years and last year's heroine Integral will be a short price to enhance the stable's record. She has 5lb more to carry this year but arrives off the back of a close-up fourth behind the colts in the Lockinge and will be hard to beat. She also beat RIZEENA (NAP) in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket last summer but that was on soft ground. Today's surface will suit the latter much more and she comes alive on this track having won the Queen Mary in 2013 and the Coronation Stakes last year when Euro Charline was third and Lightning Thunder was ninth. Clive Brittain's filly became unbalanced and disappointed on her reappearance behind Bragging at HQ but this will have been her target and she looks the value bet. Cladocera won twice in Dubai at the start of the year but hasn't raced since March while this looks tough for Amazing Maria and Evita Peron.
