Verdict

Despite a couple of setbacks this week, Aidan O'Brien's juveniles have been in excellent form all summer and Snowfall's full brother Alfred Munnings looked potentially high-class at Leopardstown. However, only one winner has come out of the race and CRYPTO FORCE also arrives from Ireland in winning form having beaten a fancied Ballydoyle runner at the Curragh at the beginning of the month. The latter, who cost 160,000gns at the Tatts Guineas Sale in April, went for an astonishing £900,000 to Amo Racing earlier in the week and remains with Michael O'Callaghan so could prove the value in the race. The Gosdens have three entries with Frankie is on board Alzahir, beaten a short-head in what looked a strong Yarmouth maiden. Jack Mitchell rides Faisal Road, a neck winner on that track last month, while Colin Keane is booked for narrow Haydock winner One World.
