Verdict

Art Power won a 5f handicap here a year ago but has finished behind three of today's rivals subsequently over today's trip. He finished a length behind GLEN SHIEL in the Champion Sprint on soft ground here in October when the latter made most and Hollie Doyle's mount looks certain to make a bold bid from the front so gets the nod. Dream Of Dreams started favourite that day having beaten the winner earlier at Haydock. Sir Michael Stoute's charge won't mind some more rain and looks certain to go well though Starman and Nahaarr fought out a finish in the Group 2 Duke Of York last month when Oxted, who won the King's Stand Stakes here on Tuesday, was three lengths back in third and Summerghand back in fourth after travelling strongly for most of the race. That looks strong form and, with more to come, Ed Walker's charge looks the main threat though his only defeat came on soft going in the Champion Sprint.
