Verdict
Multeen River, Jakari and Kock de La Vesvre look the ones to concentrate on in this competitive handicap chase with Jakari just edging the vote. The gelding from the Henry Daley yard won well on his debut this season when defeating Lincoln Place and although he has risen in the weights he is taken to score again with conditions in his favour. Multeen River rates the main danger but he only won a novices chase last time when defeating Inca Trail and he will find these experienced handicappers harder to crack. Kock de La Vesvre would have a chance on his best form but he was pulled up behind Jakari last time and will need to put that disappointing run behind him to gain his revenge even on these revised terms. Of the remainder Wave Rock has looked a shadow of his former self of late while Devon View looks weighted up to the hilt. So the vote goes to Jakari.
