Verdict

Flat winner The Olympian is best watched having a first run since 2018. MIDNIGHT RIVER boasts very solid novice form and would have gone close in a Grade 2 at Warwick five weeks ago had he not missed out the last. One True King was well backed for the Lanzarote at Kempton last month but faded from the home turn having raced up with the pace and a return to better ground might suit. Gallyhill easily landed the odds on his debut under Rules at Newbury and could be anything but he won’t be much of a price and the second was being ridden when falling at Sandown on Thursday.
