      Verdict

      DAMNED ELUSIVE was only beaten a neck over 1m2f here on her handicap debut. A pedigree packed with stamina suggests this extra distance will suit and an apprentice’s 7lb allowance also helps her cause. Maxine and Beijing Billy have a bit to find with the selection on collateral form but The Bay Warrior looks a threat on last month’s second at Wolverhampton. Red Right Sand drops down a grade and Silver Shade makes his handicap debut having been gelded since last in action.
